November 19, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm UTC+0

Gain a new insight into Roman London at this evening of poetry inspired by the hidden voices present within the Bloomberg writing tablets, some of the earliest written documents found in Britain. Hosted at London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE where the tablets were discovered, Dr Josephine Balmer’s poetry will be performed by students from the University of Notre Dame. The event will also include a short talk on the tablets and an opportunity to view the Temple of Mithras where the Romans worshipped.

Doors open at 17:00 for event ticket holders to explore the venue, with the main programme commencing at 17:30.
